Fenix Repower AS is a Norwegian energy company founded in 2016 by experienced executives with backgrounds from Shell. From the outset, the company has focused on project development and execution, and operated as a consultancy supporting energy projects worldwide until 2023.
Since 2019, our focus has been on renewable energy, with active projects in both Norway and Ukraine. Our subsidiary Fenix Repower LLC, established in Ukraine in January 2022 and fully owned by Fenix Repower AS, has played a key role in the development and construction of wind power projects totaling 1050 MW in Ukraine and 277.2 MW in Norway, as well as hydrogen projects amounting to 750 MW.
In 2023, Fenix Repower transitioned from consultancy services to developing its own renewable energy projects. This shift was fully realized when Swedish wind developer Arise AB acquired a 70% stake in the company, becoming the majority shareholder. Arise is one of Sweden’s leading wind power companies, with operations in Sweden, the UK, Finland, and Germany, and is now a strategic partner of Fenix Repower.
Today, we develop projects in wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in both Norway and Ukraine.
We believe that decentralized and resilient energy production—potentially integrated with battery storage—is essential to rebuilding Ukraine’s energy sector. Our approach is rooted in close collaboration with local administrations, farmers, landowners, and distribution system operators (DSOs) to ensure that each project aligns with both local needs and national energy strategies. All our developments meet high quality standards, comply with international norms, and place strong emphasis on supporting local communities through dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
In Norway, we focus on developing projects that deliver local benefits—not only through revenue for municipalities and landowners, but also by enabling local use of the energy produced. Many regions face limited grid capacity, and we believe that even small wind farms combined with battery storage can strengthen local supply without requiring major grid upgrades.
We maintain a high ESG standard, with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, social impact, and sound governance.
Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, we prioritize local value creation and community engagement
in every project we undertake.
These principles guide every aspect of our work and are embedded in our Code of Conduct, which is fully aligned with legal frameworks in Norway, the EU, and Ukraine.
We believe in transparency and truth in every action. Being honest builds the foundation of trust — within our team, with our partners, and with the communities we serve.
We do what’s right, not what’s easy. Integrity means standing by our principles, delivering on promises, and holding ourselves accountable in every decision.
We value every individual and their contribution. Respect shapes how we collaborate — with empathy, openness, and genuine care for others’ perspectives and well-being.
