On Monday, March 23, Fenix Repower hosted an open day at Møteplassen on Smøla. The goal was to meet the local community, present our plans, and answer questions about the initiatives we want to explore on the island.

Fenix Repower is looking into the possibilities of developing the R2 area in eastern Smøla and is considering both a new wind power plant and a commercial area that could accommodate a data center, greenhouses, and a battery facility.

It was great to see so many people stop by to learn more, ask questions, and share their views. We truly appreciate all the feedback we received. Open dialogue with the local community is important to us, and we want to be accessible to anyone who wishes to get in touch.

We will now continue the dialogue with the municipality and aim to submit planning initiatives before the summer. In connection with this, we will, in collaboration with the municipality, invite residents to a public meeting where we will present the plans in more detail.
